Improving my spinning

My spinning is getting better by the skein. Much better in fact. Look at this two stranded yarn.


 I spun 50 grams and got around 120m of yarn. I didn't measure wraps per inch, but I would call it fingering. In the picture below, the purple strand is a commercial sock yarn. My yarn is just a tiny bit thicker.


You want to know what the best part about this yarn was? It was balanced. The singles were balanced every timy I tested them and so was the plyed yarn. When I took it of my niddy noddy (currently in the shape of my chair's armrests) it hang straight down. 


There is still a lot for me to learn, but there can be no doubt that my spinning is improving.
